LAG and Without a Roof claim lower-bracket wins to stay alive in CROSSFIRE Season 6
The fifth round of the CROSSFIRE Season 6 lower bracket concluded yesterday after the first match was played on Monday. LAG pulled off a 2-1 reverse sweep against Villainous, while Without a Roof bested Iowa Stormboar 2-0.

Both teams will still need to win another three matches in the lower bracket if they want to reach the final.
Also read: Chicken Coop swap REKMEISTER for Wolffe Villainous 1-2 LAG Villainous picked Anubis as map one, but started slow as LAG put them down 0-4. Villainous rallied back, but clutches on both sides kept the score tied 6-6.
Villainous lost the second pistol and conversions before going on a 7-1 run to take their pick 13-10. LAG picked Ancient and had an even stronger start than Anubis, winning eight of the first nine rounds and eventually earning a 9-3 lead.
After taking the second pistol and conversion, Villainous won five in a row before LAG got two to lock in Ancient 13-8. Inferno was the decider, and LAG got a fast 4-0 start before Villainous took control to put them down 5-7.
After winning their sixth pistol of the series, LAG went flawless on the CT-side to take map three 13-7 and eliminate Villainous. Even after losing the last round, WaR still earned a commanding 10-2 lead.
After winning the second pistol, WaR quickly closed their pick 13-2.
