He was ultimately only outdone by Aleksandr "zorte" Zagodyrenko in overall rating (1.27 to 1.31) after making up for an up-and-down start to the tournament in the first three rounds of the group stage.
Building into the event after an unremarkable start, he peaked at the perfect time with a fantastic performance in the grand final against Nemiga that earned him the first MVP of his career.

Over his career, YEKINDAR has played over 50 LANs, including 8 Majors, garnered 12 EVPs, and placed in the HLTV Top 20 three times. His first MVP comes off the back of his best-ever rating at a big event with a 1.27 over 21 maps.
YEKINDAR's run started relatively slowly as he averaged a mere 0.97 over seven maps during FURIA's first three days as the team went down 1-2 in the Swiss system.
He was a big driver of their dominant wins over TYLOO and Liquid that secured them a spot in the playoffs, averaging a whopping 1.67 over both 2-0 victories.

FURIA can stand on this line: "Also read: FalleN's farewell tour continues with FURIA topping PGL Masters Bucharest This MVP comes over six years after he entered tier-one Counter-Strike in 2020 with Virtus.pro." It is already on the card, so the case does not need a streak or a roster rumor.
