Nemiga move past Legacy in Bucharest

Daniel "syph0" Ageyev was the hero in a chaotic Ancient game that went to quadruple overtime. The Spirit Academy graduate put in a 1.55 rating as Nemiga ran out 25-23 winners after wasting three map points in regulation.

Dust2 proved far less entertaining as Nemiga took control from the opening rounds.

Legacy still put up a fight while facing series point, but their comeback hopes ended in the 21st round, when Nikita "robo" Dushin — who, like syph0 , is a Spirit Academy graduate — came close to a triple kill in a mid-B split.

They remain in contention for a playoff berth, which would secure their place at the Singapore Major. The series began with BETBOOM taking the first six rounds on Anubis. Nemiga briefly found their footing with three consecutive rounds, but that was all they could manage.

BETBOOM restored control to lead 9-3 at the break and swept the second half, with Kirill "Magnojez" Rodnov topping the scoreboard with a 1.87 rating.

Nemiga recovered from a 0-2 start to lead 7-5 at halftime, while Nikita "robo" Dushin contributed a 1v2 clutch helping them along the way, before extending their advantage to 9-5 after the switch. BETBOOM responded with three straight rounds to bring themselves back into contention.

The teams traded blows until Nemiga led 11-10, but Aleksandr "zorte" Zagodyrenko 's 28-kill showing helped his team take the final three rounds to complete the sweep.
