FalleN: "There's a real boost from winning a tournament; it would be great if we could feel that again"

One of the biggest talking points surrounding FURIA in recent weeks has been their grueling schedule.

Thunderpick marks their seventh stop of the season, an apparent push to maximize their chances of winning a trophy before Gabriel "FalleN" Toledo retires at the end of the year.

"I'd say the main change is in our day-to-day planning, because since we've had so many tournaments, there's no time to practice," he told HLTV after the match. "Even today, before the match, there were two guys lying down sleeping, tired from practice.

We have to find a way to make up for that lack of practice time by practicing on game days." Thunderpick is without a doubt FURIA 's best shot at lifting a trophy before the final leg of the season.

Defending their 2025 title, FalleN argued, would give the team substantial momentum heading into the remaining events. "As I even told the guys on the team last year, before we won [those titles], there's a real boost from winning a tournament," he said.

"You become more confident, happier in your day-to-day life, and more satisfied.
