BETBOOM romp past NAVI to make playoffs
BETBOOM have advanced to the playoffs of PGL Masters Bucharest after a 2-0 victory over Natus Vincere (13-10 Dust2, 13-9 Nuke). Natus Vincere went racing out of the gates on Dust2, making up for a lost pistol with some quick tempo on the attack.

w0nderful continued to shine for Natus Vincere in the second half, but his efforts — including a quad-kill and multis in all of NAVI's wins — was only enough for three CT rounds.
Natus Vincere put up a masterclass CT side on Nuke after starting down 1-4, converting an eco round by pushing into Lobby and never letting control slip from there.
w0nderful and Aleksi "Aleksib" Virolainen led a flawless defensive spree to end the half up 8-4, but the wheels fell off the bus on the attack. BETBOOM 's defense was impregnable, with Kirill "Magnojez" Rodnov constantly disrupting NAVI's defaults and dominating them in openers.
That, combined with excellence in the late-round from S1ren , left Natus Vincere with just one round to their name as BETBOOM romped to a 13-9 victory.
Vitality utterly dominated Natus Vincere 's Inferno pick, a team-wide performance leaving Natus Vincere 's meek offense destitute at every turn.
Early multis from Mathieu "ZywOo" Herbaut gave way to a stellar defensive half by William "mezii" Merriman , who bagged a kill in 11 straight rounds while Shahar "flameZ" Shushan and jL locked down Banana.
Mihai "iM" Ivan had a map to forget, dying in every round of the first half, failing to tally a kill, and ending the effort with 5.1 ADR.
He avoided finishing the map on a goose egg with two MP9 frags in the second half, and NAVI could do nothing but laugh as they managed to avoid a 0-13 loss.
The Romanian rifler had a return to form on Dust2, where he combined with Drin "makazze" Shaqiri and Ihor "w0nderful" Zhdanov in a rock-solid defense.

Fictional bylines. Each take uses a line above and adds no facts.
Natus Vincere can stand on this line: "w0nderful continued to shine for Natus Vincere in the second half, but his efforts — including a quad-kill and multis in all of NAVI's wins — was only enough for three CT rounds." It is already on the card, so the case does not need a streak or a roster rumor.

Team Vitality still has to answer for this: "w0nderful continued to shine for Natus Vincere in the second half, but his efforts — including a quad-kill and multis in all of NAVI's wins — was only enough for three CT rounds." That is the soft spot on the card. Nothing else in these lines closes it.
