NRG drop out of NSTLGA Texas; enter LAST CHANCE after Voca drop out

NRG have removed themselves from NSTLGA Texas Open 2026 in order to play at FiRe LAST CHANCE 2026. The North Americans are directly benefitting from compatriots Voca dropping out of LAST CHANCE after their Major chances went up in smoke.

The Argentinean event has a stronger team list, making it an attractive target for NRG to try to scoop invaluable VRS points.

The North American squad currently sits at #10 in the NA VRS, needing to make the top-nine to earn a spot at the PGL Major Singapore.

The North Americans are 3-4 since that win, dropping crucial matches to Major-spot rivals Wildcard and Imperial.

According to Mischief , NRG's Major odds are at 38.79%, but they will likely need one of Imperial or Wildcard to slip up before the Major invite cutoff on November 2nd.

JiJieHao are also in line to pick up a spot at LAST CHANCE , but they are unlikely to do so.

Opinion

Fictional bylines. Each take uses a line above and adds no facts.

The headline skips this: "Also read: Voca drop out of LAST CHANCE as team's Major chances dissolve NRG hit a peak by defeating MOUZ at StarLadder StarSeries Fall 2026, but since then have been in a dip." That is the reading I would argue. The rest of the card does not cancel it.
