The new-look Johnny "JT" Theodosiou lineup has showed plenty of promise and beat both MOUZ and Legacy at this tournament, but familiar frailties let them down against Aurora and now FURIA .
Old Liquid boy Mareks "YEKINDAR" Gaļinskis will be in JT 's nightmares tonight after winning three crucial rounds single-handedly with just a plucky Five-SeveN in his inventory.
Round 19 on Nuke was particularly damaging, at a point where Liquid had looked great in their T-side gun rounds and were set for a big upset on FURIA 's map pick.
YEKINDAR was also excellent with a rifle in his hand, posting more than 100 ADR on Inferno as he ensured FURIA would secure playoffs.
The convincing nature of Inferno is a true achievement: Liquid were 9-1 on the map before today and had beaten Aurora , Legacy and MOUZ on the map.

However, Liquid did manage to even the score at 9-9 and again at 11-11, at which point two solid rounds from Liquid alumnus Mareks "YEKINDAR" Gaļinskis helped FURIA to the 13-11 victory.
FURIA took another two pistol rounds on Liquid's map pick of Inferno, and the frontrunners' T side won six uncontested rounds to take their second win 13-5.
YEKINDAR finished the map 21-8, giving him a total series KD of 41-23 and an average rating of 1.75 against his and Gabriel "FalleN" Toledo's old team. Also read: FaZe essentially Major-bound after RLG Tesla Cup wins
But the mental damage done by YEKINDAR 's trusty pistol proved too tough to overcome, even with a strong Keith "NAF" Markovic performance, and it's FURIA who stroll into playoffs.

Fictional bylines. Each take uses a line above and adds no facts.
FURIA can stand on this line: "The new-look Johnny "JT" Theodosiou lineup has showed plenty of promise and beat both MOUZ and Legacy at this tournament, but familiar frailties let them down against Aurora a…" It is already on the card, so the case does not need a streak or a roster rumor.

The headline skips this: "The new-look Johnny "JT" Theodosiou lineup has showed plenty of promise and beat both MOUZ and Legacy at this tournament, but familiar frailties let them down against Aurora a…" That is the reading I would argue. The rest of the card does not cancel it.

FaZe Clan still has to answer for this: "The new-look Johnny "JT" Theodosiou lineup has showed plenty of promise and beat both MOUZ and Legacy at this tournament, but familiar frailties let them down against Aurora a…" That is the soft spot on the card. Nothing else in these lines closes it.
