FaZe's entry into the tier-three €12,000 LAN comes as the team's spot at the PGL Major Singapore sits on a knife's edge following weak showings at the Esports World Cup 2026 and FISSURE Playground #3.
However, as evidenced by MischiefCS2's latest prediction post , FaZe have jumped to a 70% chance of qualifying simply by signing up for the LAN and the assumption they will perform well in Portugal.
With that being said, the expectation should be for FaZe to do quite well at Roman Imperium Cup IX as they are far and away the highest-ranked team in attendance.
The team is largely popularly by the academy teams of other tier-one organizations, smaller European stacks, and a number of Portuguese teams.
FaZe is currently ranked 14th on HLTV's unofficial live VRS while the next highest-ranked team is INFINITE, who are all the way down at 73rd on the rankings.

FaZe Clan still has to answer for this: "FaZe's entry into the tier-three €12,000 LAN comes as the team's spot at the PGL Major Singapore sits on a knife's edge following weak showings at the Esports World Cup 2026 and…" That is the soft spot on the card. Nothing else in these lines closes it.
