The former took a commanding 10-2 lead on the CT-side, easily converting that advantage to a 13-5 win. DETONATE hit the reverse card on Inferno, as they sprinted out to a 9-3 edge on the defensive side.
They, like Chicken Coop, wouldn't have any issues in the second half, winning the map 13-4. The decider was the most competitive map from the series, but it looked like DETONATE might run away with it at first.

Dezi Boys, who chose to start on the CT side, fought back in the latter stages of the first half to cut the defecit to 7-5 at the interval.

Fictional bylines. Each take uses a line above and adds no facts.
FaZe Clan still has to answer for this: "In the other two upper bracket matches, Overtake Sector won via forfeit v. FarmVille, and Iowa Stormboar narrowly defeated regain." That is the soft spot on the card. Nothing else in these lines closes it.
