Liquid came out as winners at the event, taking home the $12,500 grand prize and winning the org's first title in seven years .
While they were in a great spot for the Major already, it was actually Widcard, the team Liquid defated in the grand final, who boosted their Major odds most considerably.
Wildcard defeated NRG to make it out of the group stage and then went on to best Major bubble rivals DENDELE in the semifinals. Unsurprisingly, Liquid also made a big leap in the VRS.
They gained 115 points and are now in 15th in the VRS standings, which puts them in a spot to receive invites to tier-one events.
