Emil "Magisk" Reif led the lobby with a 1.48 rating. BBL's map pick of Nuke seemed favorable as they took the opening pistol, but 10 straight rounds of BC.Game dominance said otherwise.

With Oleksandr "s1mple" Kostyliev dropping 20 kills between wallbangs and quickscopes, their 13-3 victory was all but assured.

FaZe found themselves on the right side of the equation with a victory, Envy took a hit by dropping to the lower bracket but stayed alive, whilst Luminosity suffered elimination and face a tall task to make it to Singapore.

The highest-ranked team in attendance, FaZe , kicked off their playoff journey with a hard-fought win over ASTRAL , needing a big performance from Jason "JBOEN" Boe Nielsen in an overtime Cache decider to get the job done.

If FaZe can keep their run going until at least a top-four finish, and they make the final three at RLG Tesla Cup, the European combine will be all but guaranteed a Major berth.

For Envy , a deep run in both DraculaN and RLG Tesla Cup is likely necessary to bag a Major spot, so there is still a lot of work left for the Frenchmen to do if they want to book a ticket for Singapore.

Whilst Luminosity are not dead and buried just yet, they are now in need of a trophy-winning campaign at RLG Tesla Cup to have any realistic chance, where they face stiff competition from the likes of FaZe , B8 , GamerLegion and Envy .

Nexus came back in the second game with a solid win of their own. On Cache, Nexus were down 12-9 and brought the map to overtime, eventually winning 16-13.

BCG took an 8-4 lead on their CT side and held Nexus off to win D2 13-9 and the series 2-1. A solid T side gave them a 7-5 halftime lead, which they would easily convert to a 13-6 map win.

Eternal Fire looked like they would capitulate entirely on their pick of Ancient. BCG were up 7-2, but then Eternal Fire rattled off eleven of the next thirteen rounds to win the map and force a decider.

The third map was on Cache, and the first half was touch-and-go. Eternal Fire eeked out a 7-5 lead at the halfway point of the final map. EF went up 10-7 late in the map, but BC.Game fought back to take a 12-10 lead.

Fictional bylines. Each take uses a line above and adds no facts.

FaZe Clan still has to answer for this: "Also read: FaZe survive ASTRAL scare to make DraculaN quarterfinals The first half of Mirage ended with BBL up two rounds, but BC.Game's defense tied the game and closed the 13-…" That is the soft spot on the card. Nothing else in these lines closes it.
