The 2026 edition of IESF is set to take place in Banten, Indonesia from December 15th to December 20th, with twelve teams, including Team USA, competing for a yet-to-be-announced prizepool.
The 2026 edition will be the first IESF event since the 2025 edition was quietly cancelled in late 2025.
IESF 2025 was planned to be held in Lviv, Ukraine, however the location was scratched due to safety concerns over holding an event in Ukraine while the Ukrainian host also made accusations of financial irregularities made against the IESF.
With the first edition of the Esports Nations Cup being postponed to 2027 due to the Iran War, IESF will also serve as the main nations-based event this year on the calendar for CS2 teams.
In 2023 and 2024, the USEF sent squads built around Collin "CoJoMo" Moren that went 1-4 and 0-5 in 2023 and 2024, respectively.
Additionally, the team will be coached by a familiar face in the form of Noah "Nifty" Francis, as the retired Envy player previously coached Team USA in 2024.
