Lucid's departure from Marsborne sees him step away from his dual coach and general manager duties within the organization, having been a key face behind the formation of the team's first and second rosters.
However, setbacks during the team's South American tour as well as interpersonal struggles would ultimately see the team miss out on the Major before largely being benched while a new roster was formed around Lucid and Adam "Grizz" Golden.
Various tributes have come in from Lucid's former and current teammates, with a particularly touching post from Grizz on X reading: This is painful to write. Hunter was someone who reignited my career after losing my mother.
He had my back and pushed me to lengths I didn't expect of myself. He is the person who has been my mentor and been advocating for me since day 1.
Love you and thank you for everything.❤️ With Lucid stepping down from Marsborne, Ben "ben1337" Smith is expected to take over as the team's head coach, however this is yet to be confirmed by the organization or ben1337.
