Nexity's departure from EMPIRE marks the end of an eight-month tenure on the organization, while his time with the core of the roster dates back to November 2025 when they played as MAZRAEA.
Nexity said that he disagreed with the decision as the team have only played three results with their new roster.
The French coach's final event at the helm of EMPIRE saw the team claim a top-six finish in the third ESL Challenger League Season 52 Cup, going 1-2 after a win over Desi Boyz and losses to DETONATE and regain.
