The "Rush Hour" update as Valve have termed it is one of the larger updates we've seen this year and resolves a number of minor but longstanding issues players have had with the game.
Take a look at the update below as we highlight some of the larger changes dropping on the client tonight.
Players are now able to silently reload their guns by holding down the Reload key at the cost of the reloads taking a few seconds longer.
This change could have massive meta implications as it will allow players to be far more sneaky while also adding extra complexity to the game as it introduces trade-offs between a quick and loud reload and a longer but silent reload.
With this update Valve have also made it so unscoping from a scoped rifle is now silent, meaning disengaging from holding an angle should be a lot safer.
This change was perhaps introduced to buff AWPers against the aggressive rifling we have seen in CS2 .
