The win sends 100 Thieves up to 18th in the Europe VRS and earns them the region's last spot in Stage 1 of the Singapore Major following HOTU 's second-place finish at GLuck Moscow Cyber Games.

It will mark the North American organization's first-ever appearance at a Counter-Strike Major. After taking a 9-3 CT side, 100 Thieves invited Wildcard back into the game by wasting a 5v2 in the pistol round .

That was only the first of several advantages Jack "Gizmy" von Spreckelsen ’s troops let slip on the opening map as nerves began to take hold.

They had to save a map point twice before closing the game out in double overtime when Nicolai "device" Reedtz won a nerve-racking 1v1 duel with three seconds left to spare.

100 Thieves felt much more at home on Dust2, where they boasted an impressive 17-1 record in the last three months. They cruised to an 8-4 lead on the T side and then finished the game off with a perfect 5-0 run.
