Team Liquid Falls to FaZe Clan in Grudge Match
Team Liquid's updated roster faced a tough test against FaZe Clan at the BLAST Rivals Spring event, ultimately falling 2-0. Dust2.us noted that rain and broky were instrumental in shutting down Liquid's aggressive T-side plays.
The rivalry between North America's premier organization and the international powerhouse of FaZe Clan added another chapter during the BLAST Rivals Spring 2026 group stage. FaZe looked dominant on Inferno, restricting Liquid to just four rounds in the first half before closing the map 13-6. Liquid showed more life on Ancient, but the tactical depth of karrigan proved too much for the NA side to overcome in the closing rounds. Despite the loss, Team Liquid's newest additions showed flashes of brilliance, particularly in mid-round clutches. However, the lack of strategic cohesion was evident as FaZe exploited gaps in Liquid's defensive setups. FaZe Clan now moves on to the upper bracket final of their group.
